I’m Tyshawn Jamison, a Brooklyn-based filmmaker and storyteller. Through Typerception, I make cinematic work that feels intentional, honest, and true to the people inside it.
My background in directing, writing, cinematography, and performance keeps me close to every part of the process — from the first idea to the final cut. The goal is simple: work that connects, resonates, and stays with you.

About Tyshawn
The person behind the perspective.
Tyshawn Jamison is an artist, writer, director, actor, and the creative force behind Typerception. A SAG-AFTRA actor and Full Sail University graduate, he brings both lived experience and technical discipline to every set.
His work moves between narrative film, documentary, branded content, and performance — always with a focus on character, emotional truth, and images that give a story room to breathe.
